Britney Spears' Mother Talks About Her Daughter's Transition into Parenthood

In an exclusive interview with "Access Hollywood," Lynne Spears, mother of pop star Britney Spears, talks for the first time about her daughter's transition into parenthood and reveals that son-in-law Kevin Federline changes diapers. The interview airs on "Access Hollywood," Friday, January 6, 2006.
Lynn Spears reveals that her daughter keeps a very close watch on who spends time with new son, Sean Preston. "She's really picky," she says. "She doesn't let just anybody hold him, but she let's me hold him." The new grandmother adds that parenthood has brought a lot of joy into the pop star's life. "She's very happy."
When it comes to her son-in-law, Spears says they share a very close bond. "It's very special," she says. "I'm very close to Kevin."
The Spears matriarch also reveals that Federline doesn't get a free pass when it comes to diaper duty. "Kevin does change diapers (laughs)."
