Is Julia Going To 'War' With Hanks?

In what would be her first onscreen role since "Ocean's Twelve" – and since giving birth to twins – Julia Roberts is in talks to join Tom Hanks in "Charlie Wilson's War," reports Variety.
Celebrity Scenes: Julia Roberts Hanks has already signed on to play the role of Charlie Wilson, a rogue Texas congressman who oversees the covert funding of the Afghan rebels in the fight against the Soviet Union.
Roberts would play Joanne Herring, a beautiful Texas socialite who influences Wilson to support the rebel cause.
Based on the book by "60 Minutes" producer George Crile, "War" was written by Aaron Sorkin and Mike Nichols is in talks to direct the project.
Nichols and Roberts worked together on the 2004 film "Closer."
However, Variety reports, neither Roberts nor Nichols have started negotiations.
But if she does join the project, she likely won't come cheap.
In November, the 38-year-old Roberts topped The Hollywood Reporter's annual list of the highest-paid actresses for the second straight year, taking in $20 million per movie.
